CLEMENT PARK GOBBLE WOBBLE
WHEN: Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, 2017

WHERE: Clement Park    
The Gobble Wobble is a Thanksgiving 5k run/walk that takes place at beautiful Clement Park. The race will have serious athletes, aspiring runners, families and children. Race Day registration will be available if the 1500 participant max has not been met.  Cash and check only.  $30 for age 12 and under, everyone else will be $40.  T-shirts are available while supplies last.  The Gobble Wobble is a non-profit race.  All net profits are donated to a charity of the director’s choice.  All organizers are non-paid volunteers.      

 

MILE HIGH UNITED WAY TURKEY TROT
WHEN: Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, 2017

WHERE: Washington Park    
Run your yams off at the annual Mile High United Way Turkey Trot in Denver’s beautiful Washington Park. The four-mile race and quarter-mile family fun run is expected to host over 10,000 participants in support of Mile High United Way’s work in the community to improve the lives of children, families, and individuals in need. This year’s Turkey Trot will include a start and finish village featuring entertainment, music, booths and a beer garden sponsored by Great Divide Brewing Co.

The official kick-off to the largest lighting display in Denver happens on November 24 at 6 p.m. at the City & County Building, where 600,000 lights deck the neo-classical building. Enjoy family-friendly fun, food and live music in the light of the City and County Building at Light the Lights.

Grab your family and friends and head to 16th and Arapahoe in downtown Denver to the Downtown Denver Rink at Skyline Park. Skate rentals are $6-$8, or bring your own pair and take a spin on the ice for free! Free days for kids will take place throughout the season. Look for regularly scheduled entertainment and activities each week including: Friday night DJs; Saturday morning skating lessons; Saturday night concerts; and Sunday afternoon family entertainment.
