Humans tell stories to make meaning. We tell stories about “us”. We tell stories about “them”. We need to understand who we are, where we come from, what we are for, and why we struggle.

It is a gift, and an act of faith, to explore our individual and collective stories of race, power, and privilege. We do this work because the stories we tell, believe, and embody have the power to dismantle the systems of white supremacy and anti-blackness and bear witness to the kin-dom of God.
