Music

The Worship Band is an ever-expanding community of amateur and professional singers and instrumentalists who specialize in a variety of commercial genres such as pop, rock, jazz, musical theatre, hip-hop and R&B. The band plays modern worship music and inspirational secular songs at the 10AM contemporary worship service each Sunday morning. Band members are scheduled on a rotational basis which means that members are involved at a frequency that works well within their schedule, be it weekly, biweekly, monthly, or otherwise. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:15PM. The worship band is an auditioned group that seeks to involve as many musicians as possible. Childcare for rehearsals may be arranged, if needed.

The Chancel Choir rehearses in the Fireside Chapel on Wednesday evening from 7:30-9:00PM throughout the fall, winter and spring seasons. They perform sacred choral anthems and lead hymn singing at the 8:00 AM service on Sundays throughout the choral season. There are normally two cantatas each year, one for Christmas and one for Easter. While this ensemble serves the traditional service, they also sing music influenced by a number of other musical genres, all of which honors our Lord and Savior, while ministering to the Christ in you and the congregation. This is not an auditioned group and music or choral experience is not necessary. Childcare for rehearsals may be arranged, if needed.

The HandBell Choir rehearses in the Fireside Chapel on Wednesday evening from 6:15-7:30PM throughout the fall, winter and spring seasons. The ensemble plays about once a month during the 8:00AM worship service. This is not an auditioned group and music or choral experience is not necessary. Childcare for rehearsals may be arranged, if needed.
