Sunday Mornings

Due to COVID, our worship service is online viewable on both our YouTube and Facebook Page. This one service has both contemporary and traditional music. We post our weekly service each Sunday at 8 a.m. Join us at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings via Zoom for a virtual coffee hour and check-in.

Our building is currently undergoing a major renovation and will be under construction through the Spring of 2021. We’re excited to be able to welcome you back in the building again post-construction and Covid!

About our 8:00 Traditional Service

Our traditional worship service features hymns, a choir, organ and special music. This service provides an opportunity for reflection and renewal with weekly communion. The music for this service is led by our Director of Music and Arts, Joseph Noelliste.

About our 10:00 Contemporary Service

Our 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship service is in a contemporary format. The music (praise and worship music, sacred and secular) is led by Joseph Noelliste and members of the band, with words shown on a screen.

Families and Sunday Mornings

Infants and Children of all ages are always welcome in our Sunday worship service. We also have a nursery right outside of the sanctuary for Infants through 3-year-olds.

We offer a Children’s Ministry program for ages 4 years through 5th grade during the 10 a.m. hour.

Learning Hour @ 9:00 a.m.

Classes offered on various topics from 9 to 10 am. While we are online, the classes are offered on Zoom.

Meet with Pastors

Every month we have a special invitation to newcomers to drop in and have coffee with Sr Pastor Steve or Pastor Jill. This is a great chance for us to learn more about you and for you to ask questions.

Sunday Morning Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome Team

Have you ever walked into a church not knowing anyone, and no one greets you or says Hello? We claim to be a friendly church – one that greets you warmly at the front door, hugs your kids, helps you find the Church School class, makes you feel welcome, and even serves a continental breakfast every Sunday morning! Our welcome team is roving in the lobby every Sunday morning, locating visitors and assisting in any way they can. If you can’t spot them, stop at the information booth (a.k.a. The Welcome Spot) and they will answer all of your questions.

Duties for ushers are simple: smiling, handing out announcement sheets, smiling, helping people find seats, smiling, taking the collection, and smiling. You are the welcoming face of CUC to established members and visitors as they come into service.

Communion Team

Traditional Communion is prepared for both services the first Sunday of each month. We are looking for individuals interested in learning the preparation process so that we have coverage for vacations and other important events. We are also in need of a person(s) to prepare the communion experience for the KidMin experience during the second service (the first Sunday of the month).

Breakfast Team

One Sunday each month we host a breakfast. It’s a wonderful time for those attending worship to visit with their CUC friends and family. This breakfast is free, and maintained through donations. A volunteer team is needed each Sunday morning to help with cooking, set up and hospitality.
