Our church building is under construction until August 2021.
In the meantime, we are renting a sanctuary from a Seventh-day Adventist church. Every Sunday at 10:30am, we worship together at Denver South Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
This sanctuary is Huge and seats 640 people (pre-COVID). For safety’s sake we are limiting our attendance to 100 people. If we fill up our 10:30am service we will add a second service for the following week. There are two “Baby Cry Rooms” in the back of the sanctuary that are isolated and enclosed if you are more at-risk but still wish to participate.
We are still requiring masks so that we can love our immuno-compromised brothers and sisters well.
The church is located at 2675 S Downing St, Denver, CO 80210.
The service goes from 10:30am-11:30am. People usually come 10 minutes before to chat, and stay about 15 minutes after.
Everyone is dressed differently. Most men have on jeans and a polo, or short sleeved button up. Some ladies like to wear a big Sunday hats. Some men and women wear shorts and sandals. We’re a mix-matched bunch so it’s hard to stick out.
We do communion once a month, and we use those little pre-packaged wafers & communion cups that look like coffee creamers.
Children are welcome to sit in on the service! We have “Worship Packs” for kids of all ages to help keep them engaged. Our Sunday School classes have been postponed until August.
We have youth group for 6-12 graders on Sunday evenings, and children’s ministry outings. See the Children’s Ministry page or Youth Ministry page for more info.
It is BYOC while we’re at this temporary location. When we are back in our building we will serve coffee every Sunday.
We use the back side of Denver South’s parking lot. Here is a handy map to show you which spots are available to us.
